Tuesday, 27. September 2011 Dr. Peter Völker resigns from R. STAHL's Executive Board
Category: Corporate-NewsDr.-Ing. Peter Völker, Member of the Executive Board of R. STAHL AG for Innovation and Technology and Managing Director of R. STAHL Schaltgeräte GmbH, will retire on December 31st, at the age of 60 years after more than 20 years of successful operation for the company.
Dr. Peter Völker will continue to provide the company with consultancy services. Thus R. STAHL further ensures the high technical competence of the PhD engineer for the company.
This was just announced by Volker Stahl, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of R. STAHL: "In his many years of dedication and commitment to the company, Dr. Völker has achieved an excellent reputation within the R. STAHL-Group. On behalf of the Supervisory Board I would like to thank Dr. Völker very much for his achievements and commitment."
Martin Schomaker, CEO of R. STAHL, added: "With Dr. Völker, we lose an excellent engineer and manager. I am pleased that he will further support the company with his high technical knowledge and competence as a freelance consultant and will thus give important impetus for the company in future as well.
As of 2012, Martin Schomaker will be leading R. STAHL as sole member of the Executive Board. His contract as CEO will be renewed for a further five years.
