Today, differing applications and diverse customer requirements lead to simultaneous use of several fieldbusses.

On one hand the Remote I/O System IS1 with communication via the intrinsically safe Profibus DP for connecting conventional or HART-compliant sensors and actuators. On the other hand the fieldbus components ISbus for connecting FF H1 or Profibus PA field devices. Integrated together in field housings in various specifications.
